Carvings & Curiosities
Carved Crystal Wings, 5 inch
$48
A butterfly carved from banded rainbow fluorite, its 5 inch wings shifting through purple, green, and soft teal. Butterflies are such a sweet symbol of transformation, and fluorite feels made for the theme. Fluorite is traditionally associated with focus, mental clarity, and intuition — a wonderful study and dreamwork companion. This little winged carving is one of a kind. — with love & earthbound wonder 🌙🍃

Fluorite is the mineral that gave “fluorescence” its name — many pieces glow softly under ultraviolet light. It grows in glassy cubes and octahedra banded in green, purple, blue, and gold, sometimes all in the same stone, which is why old miners called it “the most colorful mineral in the world.”
